What will happen if you use an expired perfume?
Usually, the only difference would be the change in the smell of the fragrance. However, in some cases, there might be some skin rashes where you apply your perfume or in extreme cases, you might get an allergic reaction.

- Fragrances with heavier base notes will have a longer lifetime.
- You can higher the lifetime of your perfume by storing it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Eau de Parfums have longer lives than Eau de Toilettes.
- Do not change the bottle of fragrance to your favorite decorative bottle such as this one. Even though these bottles are beautiful, the process exposes the juice to air which breaks down the perfume more easily.
- The optimum life of a fragrance might vary depending on your taste. Some might like the smell of specific notes as the fragrance gets older. However, be mindful that this only relates to the unopened fragrances. As soon as you open your bottle try to use it before the expiration time comes.
- Try not to lose your cap as it helps lengthen the life of your fragrance by not letting any interaction with air.
