Tips to Make Your Perfume Last Longer
We know that you want perfumes to last longer on your skin. So, we prepared some tips and tricks for you.
Tips to Make Your Perfume Last Longer:
- Use Vaseline
Rub some Vaseline on your pulse point before spraying the perfume on. Fragrances tend to last much less on a dry skin.
Again, don’t leave the skin dry before spraying a perfume on. Try using unscented lotions or if you have the lotion that pairs with your fragrance that is even better. (Usually, gift sets would have a lotion and the same fragrance.)
- Find Your Pulse
If you want your perfume last longer be sure to spray the fragrance on your pulse point. These are the places with high blood pressure and the heat helps the scent to spread easier.
- Shower & Spray
Apply the perfume right after a shower while your pores are still open and can soak up the perfume and it will last longer on your skin.
- Be Careful with Layering
If you are using scented body washes and lotions be careful that the mixing of scents with the perfume might make an offensive scent.
- Store Well
Store your perfume in dry and cool place, This helps you have a higher perfume longevity. That’s why it is usually not recommended to put perfumes in your bathroom.
- Don’t Rub
Against common belief, you should not rub your wrists together after spraying perfume on them. It will fade the fragrance away.
- Hair Care
If you are one of many people who spray perfume on their hair as well, Spray it on your hairbrush instead. It will give you the same effect with less possible damage on your hair.
If you are going to be out of the house for a long time, reapplication is your friend. Try keeping a Pocket Perfume in your purse or pocket all the time.
I hope this post help you keep your scents and cents for longer.
